Taiwan Water Corporation (TWC) introduced the ISO 14001 environmental management system in 1995 as part of its implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM). By the end of 2025, TWC had obtained certification for 38 water treatment plants.
In light of the forthcoming ISO 14001:2026 revision, which is expected to further emphasize climate change adaptation and mitigation, as well as supply chain greenhouse gas management, TWC continues to closely monitor international developments. Through initiatives such as net-zero transition planning, greenhouse gas inventory management, and continuous enhancement of its environmental management system, TWC remains committed to aligning with global trends and collaboratively addressing climate-related risks while strengthening its overall environmental governance and sustainability performance.
