Q: Do I need to make a reservation for the barbecue area?
A: As long as no one is booking the venue that day, you can purchase barbecue tickets on-site without making an appointment (reservations are only required for group bookings); if you want to know if anyone is booking the venue that day, you can call the visitor center a week in advance and ask 07- 3700821; NT$150 per stove in the barbecue area (no limit on number of people; but six to eight people are recommended); water supply (faucets in each area) and no electricity.
Q: Are pets allowed in the park?
A: Chengcing Lake is Kaohsiung City’s drinking water source water quality protection zone. According to the drinking water management regulations, in order to ensure the quality of drinking water source water, there are prohibitions in the protection zone or areas within a certain distance of the drinking water intake. Chengcing Lake Scenic Area provides outdoor leisure activities for the public. People entering the park are asked to cooperate and abide by the relevant regulations of the park.

Q: Do I need to pay parking fees when riding a mini electric two-wheeler veichle into the park?
A: From June 1, 2020, a parking fee of $NT30 will be charged for mini electric two-wheeled vehicles regardless of whether they are driven with license plate or not; the speed limit for three-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles is 10 kilometers, and medical equipment management is not included in this scope.
